Blanket New Orleans, Inc. presents BikeKatrina 2.0 (August 25 – 29, 2008).
This is our 2nd annual fund raising initiative, which aims to recognize the 3rd Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and honor the victims of the storm throughout the Gulf South.
BikeKatrina is a 250-mile bike ride that will retrace the storm path of Hurricane Katrina from Pensacola, Florida to New Orleans.
In addition to surveying the progress of the recovery – this year we are incorporating an awareness campaign about the need to protect the wetlands and confront the challenges of climate change along the gulf coast.
